What began as a small dream has grown into a full-service construction company shaped by faith, hard work, and a desire to serve others well. Owner and head contractor Stephen Hren leads CHC with the support of his wife, Jess, and their three boys — Jackson, Jayden, and Oliver.

Their family life is woven into the rhythm of the business. Jess homeschools the boys, and it’s not unusual to find the kids visiting job sites, sweeping up, handing Dad a hammer, or simply bringing smiles to everyone they meet. For the Hrens, building homes isn’t just a job — it’s an extension of their family values and the life they’re raising their children to understand.

At the center of it all is their faith. Stephen and Jess are committed to honoring Jesus in the way they live, work, and treat others. Their goal is that every conversation, every interaction, and every project reflects integrity, kindness, and the belief that work done unto the Lord should be done with excellence.
